I-9 and E-Verify
On your first day of employment with CSC, you need to bring/supply verification documents (proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States) from the acceptable list of documents (please see sidebar).
On Your First Day
You will meet with your manager/supervisor at your new work location. When you report to work, you will present your verifying document(s) to your manager or supervisor, HR representative, site administrator or security officer to complete the Employer/Section 2 of the I-9 within three business days of your hire date.
Your employment is subject to establishing to CSC’s satisfaction that you are legally entitled to work in the United States.
CSC is required by law, whether you are a citizen or not, to ensure that all new hires complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form, otherwise known as an I-9 Form.
This information is for employers to verify eligibility of individuals for employment in the United States and to preclude the unlawful hiring of individuals not authorized to work in the United States. In order to complete this form during the New Hire Orientation, you must provide proof of identity and employment eligibility.
Please review the chart in the sidebar to determine which forms of identification and employment eligibility are appropriate for you. You will not be entered in to our system without producing the proper verifying documents.
We look forward to you joining CSC.
