Canada Onboarding Process
This information is especially relevant one week before your new job starts.
Onboarding Welcome and Instruction Email
Shortly after CSC verifies your email address and start date, you will receive a CSC Onboarding welcome and instruction e-mail with required employment forms and information about upcoming actions that must be performed to complete the onboarding process.
- Complete and submit your employment forms prior to your start date.
- Watch your email for more information on actions that must be performed within your first 30 days of employment.
From your first day of employment with CSC, you will be eligible to participate in our Flexible Benefits Program, subject to the contract terms and conditions between CSC and its benefits vendor, Manulife Financial. The cost of these benefits is shared between CSC and you. After your start date, you will receive an email directly from Manulife Financial. This email will be sent to you within 14 days after your hire date.
If you wish to have benefits through CSC, you must enroll by the deadline provided by Manulife Financial. Your health and disability benefits are contingent upon having provincial health care coverage in place; a copy of your Provincial Health Card is required.
Complete Your Onboarding Actions
Please complete the Onboarding process as described in the Welcome and Instruction email. Timely action on your part will help ensure that your employment record is set up in CSC's HR/Payroll system before your first CSC pay. Kindly provide us with a copy of your Social Insurance Card so our HR/payroll team can verify the accuracy of the information provided.
If you are eligible for benefits through CSC, access the benefits enrollment site as soon as you receive the email from Manulife Financial; complete your benefits elections prior to the deadline. Coverage for benefits elected before the deadline is effective on your first day of employment.
