Weekend win brings Summer League title within Hannachi's reach

Team CSC/Marcello cyclist Abdelbasset Hannachi is one step closer to being crowned the Summer League Champion after winning the penultimate league event in Malmesbury on Saturday, March 24, 2007. Anton Wynand and Craig Butland were placed second and third, respectively.

The Algerian-born sprinter - who won the Spring League at the end of 2006 - will be going all out to take the Summer League title on April 21 at Club Mykonos, Langebaan before flying to Durban to join his team for the Tour de Durban, to be held on Sunday, April 22, 2007.
