CSC Managed Tablet Service provides customers the ability to deploy rich media tablets securely within their organizations, with the ability to manage the configurations and applications on those devices. Organizations can define and implement different levels of security and restrictions on the device through user profiles appropriate for both the user and the device.
Service Components included in the service:
CSC Managed Service: CSC will be managing this product/service from end-to-end reporting and cradle to grave, from initial installment to retiring the device and service within a client environment.
Security: In partnership with MobileIron, CSC Service Center will provide the installation and ongoing support and services around the Secured Device Management solution for our Managed Tablet Service. Features used by the service center for the Managed Tablet Service:
- Remote Lock
- Remote Wipe
- Certificate Deployment
- Security Profiles and Deployment
Device Management: CSC will remotely manage tablets for clients. CSC will provide:
- Application Store
- Monitoring and Alerting
- Quarantine of remote device
- Wi-Fi
- Inventory Management Service
Application Access: CSC application store will provide an enterprise-grade application store experience, providing access to applications from the major providers (Google App Store) and for internal developed applications to be distributed out to specific devices. In addition, the service supports multiple purchases through the Apple iTunes store from a single source.
