The adoption of desktop virtualization: A logical next step for organizations on the path to a virtual enterprise.

CSC with the support of Citrix conducted a global virtualization survey in December 2009. We focused on market trends in hosted virtual desktop (HVD) and cloud computing to gain insight into the market’s perception, use and overall understanding of these emerging technology solutions.

The survey targeted senior level business and technology decision makers at companies located in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia with revenues greater than US$250M.
