Application Management and Support (AMS)

Application Management and Support services are designed to provide for the day-to-day operations, support, and maintenance of enterprise applications. The Application Support Services encompass the following functions but not limited to:

• Application Monitoring Services — Activities associated with ongoing monitoring of the application environment, identifying trends, and identifying remedial actions required to ensure standard operational conditions.
• Application Maintenance Services — Activities associated with repairing defects to maintain or restore standard operational conditions for the applications.
• Operations — Develop, implement, coordinate or execute planned and ad hoc processes and procedures used in the performance monitoring, management, updating and tuning of the application and data base environment.
• Batch processing and operations — Activities related to setting up, modifying, optimizing and making available all information required for execution of batches, and verifying the success of batch activities related to the in-scope applications and data bases.
• Application Patches and Fixes — Activities associated with implementing patches, fixes or updates to maintain application currency and supportability, address security or other vulnerabilities, ensure compatibility with changes in the operating environment.
