CSC Vietnam organizes Technology Day 2012 for IT Students

On November 24 2012, the “Technology Day 2012” was firstly organized at the University of Technology of Ho Chi Minh City by CSC Vietnam. More than 300 IT students enthusiastically participated in the Technology Day which was covered by 4 seminars which are about .NET/SharePoint, Java, Cloud and Business Intelligence. The objective of the Technology Day was to provide students with deep insights about the latest technologies in the world of IT, especially about the Software Development.
With the event themed “Leveraging Emerging Technologies – Driving Innovation”, CSC Vietnam professionals delivered a number of presentations focused on 4 technologies included .NET/SharePoint, Java, Cloud Computing and Business Intelligence. The .NET and Java are the two main platforms have been mostly used today in building applications for business. SharePoint is a successful collaboration tool would help people can set up Web sites to share information with others, manage documents from start to finish, and publish reports to help everyone make better decisions which is deployed by many companies to exchange information and establish tight collaboration between departments. Cloud computing is an emerging trend in business information infrastructure, providing fast and efficient services that help reduce cost and provide a competitive market advantage. Business intelligence (BI) would help an organization to collect, maintain, and organize knowledge. This produces large amounts of information that can help develop new opportunities.
The event was a huge success and also a tremendous opportunity for students to get valuable insights about those latest technologies as well as discuss with CSC’s experts to seek for valuable advices pertaining to the required skills in the IT industry.
The Technology Day 2012 is one of the activities included in the “CSC Vietnam’ University Relations Program” which has been constantly running by CSC during the past years. CSC Vietnam makes all efforts to boost its human resources development strategy in Vietnam through annual scholarships, Fresher program and Internship scheme designed for the best students in local universities.
