History

CSC Vietnam, previously known as FCG Vietnam (PSV), became a subsidiary of CSC following the merger of CSC and FCG in January 2008. Our strong history of growth and delivery excellence with a focus on the highest standard of quality put us in a good position to continue providing services to our global and domestic customers.

2009: CSC Vietnam becomes the first IT company in Vietnam to be appraised at CMMI Level 5 latest version 1.2, the highest maturity level of the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) framework. In addition, CSC selected as a provider for the Windows Azure platform and its Global Competency Center has been set up in Vietnam specializing in Windows Azure.

2008: FCG Vietnam changes its name to CSC Vietnam and has fully integrated into CSC. We are among nearly 60 delivery centers of CSC World Sourcing Services. Our company delivers successful SAP implementation to a leading consumer products company.

2007: FCG Vietnam starts to offer services in Vietnam for the domestic market with a high quality and predictable results. We sign partnership with SAP to offer ERP consulting and implementation services to Vietnamese clients.

2006: FCG Vietnam became the first company in Vietnam to successfully achieve both TL 9000 (latest version 4.0) and ISO 27001: 2005.

2005: FCG Vietnam proudly became the first IT Company in Vietnam to achieve CMMI Level 5 - the highest level in quality management for software development process rated by Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

2003: First Consulting Group (FCG) acquires Paragon Solutions, Paragon Solutions Vietnam becomes part of FCG and is renamed FCG Vietnam. Healthcare Services start and eventually becomes a key industry vertical for FCG Vietnam. We win the coveted Sao Khue award from VINASA and the Certificate of Merit from HCMC People’s Committee in the awards’ first year of inception, and will continue to win every year since.

1998: Tin Tien becomes a 100% foreign-owned subsidiary of Paragon Solutions.

1997: Paragon Solutions sets up its Indian offshoring arm in Bangalore, Paragon Solutions India, working in conjunction with Paragon Solutions Vietnam to provide best-in-class software offshoring for the high-tech market.

1995: Paragon Solutions, a leading technology consulting firm serving the high-tech industry, sets up a joint venture, Paragon Solutions Vietnam (Tin Tien by Vietnamese name), started with 10 people of the Software Development Center, HCMC University of Technology, Vietnam.
