Media Statement: CSC, Union Reach Agreement, Strike Ends - June 22, 2009

ENID, Okla., June 22, 2009 -- We are extremely pleased to announce that CSC Applied Technologies LLC and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers have reached a settlement. The new collective bargaining agreement was approved overwhelmingly by the union membership in a vote held on Monday, June 22, 2009. With this announcement, we look forward to reuniting our entire Vance team. Our immediate focus is to work closely with the Air Force to prepare the planes for training flights, quickly and safely, and reconstitute the base operations to full capacity.

Details of the new agreement will be available soon. Overall, we are pleased that our key issues are included in the new agreement. The issues include: stronger drug-free workplace policy, assurance that team leads possess the necessary qualifications as well as seniority; and better coordination of personal time-off.
