CSC's Insights from the UK Nuclear Forum

The 4th Annual Nuclear Industry Forum was held in London in June 2009, sponsored by the Adam Smith Institute and marketforce. The purpose of the Forum is to bring together UK government and nuclear industry people, along with significant technology providers to discuss how to implement the UK’s Nuclear Energy Policy.

This policy, which is still being finalized, is to “decarbonize” UK energy production by replacing aging nuclear plants with state-of-the-art Generation III+ plants, and to simultaneously increase the percentage of renewable energy resources.

CSC’s Russell Records, Global CTO for Chemical, Energy, and Natural Resources, spoke on the topic “Achieving New Levels of Business Integration and Employee Productivity.”
