RAMANAN RAMAKRISHNA NAMED AS LEAD FOR CSC’s UK, IRELAND AND NETHERLANDS EMERGING BUSINESS GROUP

CSC (NYSE:CSC), a global leader in next-generation IT services and solutions, has appointed Ramanan Ramakrishna as Emerging Business Group director and general manager for its UK, Ireland and Netherlands business.
Ramanan is responsible for leading CSC’s emerging services for clients in cloud, cybersecurity, big data & analytics, mobility, Internet of Things (IoT) and social in the region. He and his team will be selling and delivering next-generation business solutions to clients in the region, working with CSC’s network of technology partners.
Ramanan reports to Sanjiv Gossain, CSC’s vice president and general manager, UK, Ireland and Netherlands who commented: “With his extensive exposure in delivering transformational next-generation services to organisations, Ramanan will be instrumental in driving growth and addressing client interests in this area of our business.”
Ramanan has more than two decades of experience delivering IT transformation programmes to global businesses. Prior to CSC, Ramanan held a number of roles at Infosys, including European global markets lead for the digital, enterprise integration, infrastructure and cloud, big data and security practices for multiple industry sectors.
Ramanan began his career at Citibank, where he was responsible for devising ATM and POS network and credit card authorization systems. At AT&T, Ramanan delivered critical infrastructure for AT&T’s expansion across Asia and Europe.
Ramanan holds a master’s degree in Computer Sciences and Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology & Science.
