CSC Statement regarding proposed acquisition of iSOFT

IBA Health Limited, an Australian healthcare information technology company has reached agreement with iSOFT for the acquisition of the company by IBA. This transaction is conditional on receipt from CSC of all necessary consents and approvals under CSC's agreement with iSOFT. The giving of these consents and approvals is solely a matter for CSC, and will be made on the grounds of the new organisation's enhanced ability to deliver on its commitments to CSC, thereby ensuring the success of the NHS National Programme for IT.
