2012 UK Business in the Community (BITC) gold ranking
We were delighted that our continuous improvements in corporate responsibility were recognised this year when BITC awarded us gold ranking in its ninth Corporate Responsibility Index. Read more about our UK corporate responsibility programme
2011 European Outsourcing Association's Best Practice Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
We helped Orange to create and implement Eco Orange, an inventive and ambitious programme for collecting and recyling mobile phones and other devices, that is not just self-funding but profitable.
OUTSOURCING AWARDS
2010 National Outsourcing Association Best Practice in Outsourcing awards
These are widely seen as the Oscars of the outsourcing industry. We won 'Public Sector Outsourcing Project of the Year' for the Department of Health's Dynamic Desktop project. The award recognised the implementation of our innovative desktop virtualisation solution, Dynamic Desktop.
2010 Award for Innovation in Outsourcing
Our implementation of cloud-based office services at the Royal Mail Group serves 28,000 of its employees. This ground-breaking project demonstrates our ability to combine best-of-breed cloud-based technology with an innovative approach to commercial models, to deliver a solution that is focused on meeting Royal Mail’s business needs.
2008 Financial Services Outsourcing Project of the Year
We won this award together with Zurich Financial Services at the National Outsourcing Association's Best Practice in Outsourcing awards for an extranet solution for Zurich's UK Life business.

2012 Finalist for UK Management Consultancies’ Association (MCA) Innovation Award
2010 MCA Most Collaborative Firm
CSC was the outright winner of the “Most Collaborative Firm” category, for its work with the NHS, Royal Mail Group, and the successful implementation, and success of, Anglian Water’s new debt management solution.
2009 MCA International Category
We won the MCA Management Awards International Category (PDF, 556 KB) for our work for the UK Border Agency.
TECHNOLOGY AWARDS
2011 GS100 list
AppLabs, a CSC company with a major UK presence, is the world's largest software testing and quality management company and is named in the coveted 2011 Global Services 100 list for the fourth straight year. AppLabs also made it to the Top Speciality Product Engineering Vendors List.
2008 Mobile Technology Award
Our life-saving mobile patient care reporting system for the NHS won the Mobile Technology Award at the British Computer Society IT Industry Awards (PDF, 412 KB). The mobile solution enables targeted, high-quality clinical care to be given at any location by enabling ambulance services to access information quickly.
CSC AWARDS
In our own CSC Chairman's Awards, a CSC-managed mobility service for Royal Mail Group's Tracked + product launch scooped just one of the six awards presented in 2009. A UK-based team working for Zurich Financial Services won a 2011 Award for a bold business transformation to standardise processes, products and technology for reuse across Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific.
