CSC's Legal Solutions Suite simplifies the billing process, tracks outside counsel performance and promote best practices in managing legal matters. Its three components, Legal e-Bill, Legal Bill Analyzer and Legal Matter Manager, work together to create an end-to-end legal management process. Or they can operate as individual software products that integrate with existing case, claims and accounting systems.

CSC offers a full range of services including legal bill reviews, legal bill audits, legal efficiency reviews, bankruptcy fee consulting, and expert opinion and testimony.
Legal Solutions Suite automates core processes, including:- Legal Matter Manager
This module provides counsel and the case manager the necessary information to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the case. The application allows the client to work with outside counsel on a litigation strategy, describing planned activities needed to bring the case to its proper disposition. Assignments to the law firm can be made online and the system includes profiles of law firms and lawyers. Additionally, the client can define detailed performance ratings for ranking the lead attorney at the close of a matter.
- Budget and Planning
This collaborative tool collects strategy and team assignment information, as well as budget amounts. The module allows for multiple iterations of the budget plan and the ability to send notes back and forth.
- Legal E-Bill
Legal E-Bill provides a secure electronic link between clients and their outside law firms, allowing invoices to be submitted from anywhere in the world.
- Legal Bill Analyzer
This module is centered on an intelligent, rules-based engine that is customized to the client's billing guidelines and business rules. Clients can apply these rules across all matters and firms or specify unique rules by line of business, individual matters or firms.
- Document Management
Both the client and the law firm can store and retrieve documents and related files for specific cases.
- Reporting
Legal Solutions Suite includes a standard set of reports, and clients can also create their own using any data captured by the system in conjunction with Business Objects reporting system.
