CSC Credit Services' online consumer assistance services is provided to give you information that will help you understand what is contained in a credit file — who provides data for the credit file, how long it remains on your file and how to obtain a copy of your credit report.
Are you entitled to a free copy of your credit report?
You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report if one of the following applies to you:
You have been denied credit
You have been denied insurance
You have been denied employment or other benefit
You certify in writing that you are unemployed and seeking employment
You are a recipient of public welfare assistance
You believe that the file contains inaccurate information due to fraud
View the FCRA Rights Summary, which clearly defines your rights as a consumer according to the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
If you have not been denied credit, insurance, employment or other benefit within the last 60 days, there is a processing fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each individual report. Order your credit report online.
Inaccurate Information After you have received and reviewed your credit report, if you find information on your credit file that you feel is reporting inaccurately, you may request that the information be reinvestigated by the Credit Reporting Agency. Complete and submit a dispute form.
