CSC and its staff have been shortlisted for four prestigious National Outsourcing Association Awards
CSC has been shortlisted for four 2012 National Outsourcing Association awards, two for projects with Royal Mail Group and National Grid and two in categories recognising individual excellence.
The National Outsourcing Association Awards for Best Practice in Outsourcing recognise and reward innovation and achievement by suppliers, users and integrated teams within the outsourcing industry.
The Royal Mail Group project involved helping the company turn several HR systems, serving 165,000 staff into a single SAP-driven platform. The project was part of a modernisation programme to improve its people management processes throughout the group (excluding Post Office Ltd). It has been shortlisted in the IT Outsourcing Project of the Year category.
CSC’s P2V (physical to virtual) project to transform National Grid to an as-a-service model has earned a shortlisting in the Telecommunications, Utilities and High-tech Outsourcing Project of the Year category. This implementation using VCE’s Vblock virtualisation solution was the largest in EMEA and one of the largest in the world – demonstrating its viability as an enterprise-scale solution.
