CSC Continues Support to Military Spouses
CSC will celebrate its anniversary as a partner with the Military Spouse Employment Partnership in October. Military Spouse recruitment and outreach has been an integral part of CSC's overall Military Program since 2003. The company is committed to not just hiring military spouses, but provididng them valuable career opportunities that in many instances are portable to any duty staton. We have accepted the challenges of the White House's Joining Forces initiative, as well as the 100K Job Mission and the US Chamber of Commerce's Hiring 500,000 Heroes initiatives to hire veterans returning from post-9/11 conflicts and their spouses.
Through our Military Programs team, we're reaching out at the grassroots level, attending more than 100 recruitment events and employment workshops across America a year. In addition, CSC is attending numerous military spouse-specific events from coast to coast.
CSC’s Military Programs began in 2003 when CSC signed on as a founding partner in the Army Spouse Employment Partnership. The program quickly evolved and expanded to assisting veterans, military spouses, wounded warriors and the caregivers of the wounded from all service branches. The CSC Military Programs team's mission is to assist these constituents during their transition and help them realize their professional aspirations through valuable career choices. CSC has remained committed, recognizing the leadership qualities, loyalty, diversity and strong work ethic of our warrior community and our heroes on the homefront.
