• Prepare the database
• Format the data and determine its readability, analyze fields per line of business, assess key data verifications, check for duplicate claims, check for virus contamination, validate claim date ranges and prepare for data mapping
• Assess the need for value-add options by benchmarking critical data, such as line of business, conversion tables, date fixes for differing formats, claim status, claim and payment type
• Extract the data into CSC's data validation system, certifying all necessary fields are completed and all dates are in proper sequence
• Process the data with CSC's data validation system to clean up claims records and run comprehensive audits and reports
• Identify claims with negative reserves, loss runs, reserves by claim type, reserves by division, duplicate claims and duplicate checks
• Report on data quality assessment
