City of Knoxville Recognized for Workers' Comp and Disability Program
The City of Knoxville, Tennessee, a member of CSC’s RISKMASTER Accelerator client community, has been selected as a winner in the 2012 Theodore Roosevelt Workers' Compensation and Disability Management Awards by Risk & Insurance magazine.
The city was honored in the nonprofit category of this national award for its exemplary workers' comp and workplace safety program, which is supported by CSC’s software for risk and claims management and business analytics. The award includes a feature story in the November issue of Risk & Insurance and on the magazine's website and a special awards luncheon at the National Workers' Compensation and Disability Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
Gary Eastes, the city's Director of Risk Management, will accept the award and be on-hand at CSC’s booth #508 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. November 7.
Eastes was previously named Public Risk Manager of the Year by the Public Risk Management Association, a national organization that promotes effective risk management in the public administration sector. Stop by CSC’s booth to learn more about his successful program.
