Swiss Re is the second largest reinsurance company in the world, and aims to match its growth objectives with increased efficiency of its global operations.
In support of this strategy, Swiss Re implemented a global platform on which to run streamlined P&C business administration processes, with the aim of reducing back-office administration costs and improving management information. With CSC's SICS/nt installed, a large part of Swiss Re's P&C business group now operates on a single platform.
Collaboration to Tailor Standard Offering
Swiss Re was already a user of CSC software, and the two companies have a long-standing and strong working relationship. Swiss Re and CSC collaborated together to develop and refine CSC's latest SICS/nt package to meet Swiss Re's specific requirements.
Greater Functionality and Usability
With SICS/nt fully implemented throughout its Asian, Latin American and most of its European offices, Swiss Re has a new global technology application for its contract administration, claims administration and technical accounting requirements. The system provides greater functionality and usability that has resulted in:
