CSC RECEIVES NAVY CONTRACT TO PROVIDE WORLDWIDE COMMUNICATION AND MEDIA SUPPORT SERVICES

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 18 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that the U.S. Navy Chief of Information (CHINFO) awarded the company a contract to provide worldwide public communication and media support services. CSC is one of four companies selected to compete for task orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which has a one-year base period and four one-year options.

Under the terms of the contract, CSC will provide public affairs, information technology and visual information professionals for CHINFO headquarters and the Navy Office of Community Outreach. CSC will provide services in several areas, including communication integration and strategy; media and community relations; marketing; management and training, and development and production of public information materials.
