CSC Sponsors Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition

Delivering Confidence

As government agencies and commercial firms call for a dramatic increase in the immediate need for cyber experts, the education of future cyber professionals is critical. As a sponsor of the CyberWatch Center and the fifth Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, CSC is committed to training and developing the next generation of cyber experts.

The CCDC, which ran March 11-13, 2010, challenged college students to perform against hackers trying to disrupt and compromise their networks, the competition is unique in its focus on the operational aspects of managing and protecting an existing network infrastructure. Our cyber subject matter experts were on-site mentoring teams and judging the competition.
