Built upon Daon’s IdentityX™ platform, ConfidentID Mobile takes advantage of the built-in capabilities of smart devices to achieve multifactor fusion without requiring costly biometric equipment or system integration. It lets users establish their identity through a combination of encryption, PIN entry, location-based technology and biometrics such as voice, face and palm image matching.

ConfidentID Mobile is composed of a server application and an application on the user’s mobile device. Here’s how it works:

• When a user initiates a transaction on his or her mobile device, a request is made to the CSC ConfidentID Mobile server for verification.
• The system prompts the user to enter identity verification data on his or her smartphone or other mobile device. The verification method required depends on the criteria set up by your organization for each transaction type, but could include a PIN or password, biometric verification and GPS location information.
• The ConfidentID Mobile server assesses the verification data and access is approved or denied. You have several options for transacting a successful application, including issuing a one-time password for entry into your application or direct entry into the site or application without further action from the user.
