Since 2004, CSC has supported the Department of Defense's U.S. Army Biometric Task Force, now known as the Biometrics Identity Management Agency, with services including —

• Information technology infrastructure design and support
• Product and system evaluations
• Biometric technology and application research
• Piloting and prototyping
• Standards requirements and conformance testing
• Program management
• Educational outreach

We also provide biometric experimentation and prototype development such as —

• Designing, building and operating prototypes to meet operational requirements and eventual transfer to appropriate acquisition authority
• Conducting and coordinating experimentation with leading experts (academia and industry) to drive research and technology efforts to address DoD needs
• Developing defense biometric test database
• Working with DoD organizations to insert biometrics into current operations.
