Diversity

"It is important to recognize that NPS’ continued business success hinges on a key element: Our People. Like all aspects of our business, we always strive for improvement, including the environment and opportunities we create for our employees. The North American Public Sector (NPS) leadership team firmly believes that we can achieve our business objectives and mission by creating and sustaining an environment in which employees of differing backgrounds, personal characteristics, philosophical outlooks, life experiences, perspectives, beliefs, expectations, and aspirations can excel."
Jim Sheaffer, President

Some examples of our diversity work include:
Military Veterans
CSC is committed to and has been recognized for our work with military veterans, wounded warriors and military spouses. Most recently CSC was one of a short list of military spouse friendly companies invited to participate in Michelle Obama's JoiningForces.gov initiative. CSC continues to develop partnerships with many organizations including National Military Spouse Network (NMSN), Military Spouse Employment Program (MSEP) and Blue Star Families all with the common goal of helping military spouses realize their professional aspirations through valuable career choices.
Small Business
CSC supports an active Supplier Diversity Program. This U.S.-based program reaches out to small businesses, and to large businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans and others of diverse backgrounds. Our Supplier Diversity activities frequently receive praise and recognition from U.S. government agencies. Learn more about our Government Small Business activities.
Persons with Disabilities
CSC was recognized by CAREERS & the disABLED magazine as one of America’s “Top 50 Employers for Persons with Disabilities.” The 20th annual list recognizes corporations for their commitment to employees with disabilities. Top companies were nominated by the magazine’s readers as the company they would most like to work for or believe would provide a progressive environment for people with disabilities.
