Global Delivery

Adopting global standards broadens our ability to diversify our employees and locations. Our approach is to design the delivery environment to meet the legal, compliance, risk, language and cost requirements through the combination of onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery centers — safe in the knowledge that whichever center is used, all use the same processes, tools and methodologies.

To drive continuing value to our customers, we distinguish our centers into three groups:

  • Global Low Cost centers – These are centers that have "lower labor rates." They are also highly leveraged providing a variety of services to multiple clients.
  • Outsourcing centers – These generally have both labor and infrastructure content and tend to be regional in nature. Our data centers in Maidstone, Copenhagen, Sydney and Newark are noted centers.
  • Delivery centers – Set up to meet unique requirements of a single client.

We have a structured approach to global delivery management (GDM) that we believe enables us to design an architecture to deliver IT that enables business services to meet our customers' corporate and information consumer needs.

The next generation of process and skill-based capabilities are now being offered in our centers with domain and industry expertise. It is not just about technical skills but true industry knowledge.

For example, in Chile we have created a global center of excellence in the Chemical, Energy & and Natural Resources Group, and our India center has long been know and recognized for their domain expertise in the Financial Services sector. Our Vietnam center has been supporting the telecommunications industry for years, and we are the first company in Vietnam to achieve CMMI Level 5, telecom standard TL 9000 version 4, and security standard ISO 27001 certificates.
