CSC emphasizes the development of our employees. Hence, we have established a career development framework with one clear, consistent and global approach as well as a Career Development Resource center to help our employees manage their career journey:
Developing a career map is a fundamental piece in our career development. The map helps our employees to think about the big picture of their career – both present and future – and leads them to explore possibilities and identify the next steps they want to take to move their career.
Career Pathway Options
The Career Pathway Options is a framework created to illustrate a number of options that an employee can take regarding his or her career journey. Our employees are encouraged to explore the opportunities and find the pathway options that fit their career goals.
CSC has also developed approximately 50 logically structured “career streams” to depict career paths reflecting a series of related jobs with the same overall purpose. The streams include both management and individual contributor jobs.
Career Coach Network
The Career Coach Network (CCN) is CSC’s global gateway to career guidance, support and inspiration as employees develop professionally within CSC. It’s self-serve network comprised of CSC employees volunteering their time to provide career guidance, both on a general and a specialist level across regions and career streams.
