If you take the initiative, you’ll have plenty of scope with CSC
If you are an active type, the scope at CSC is endless. I am a person with plenty of drive. I want to advance myself and my surroundings while working in a company that appreciates initiative and ideas. CSC does just that.
I have just finished CSC’s two-year Graduate Programme. I started just after my international studies following a stay in the USA, where I brushed up my English. But I was no stranger to the IT sector after three years working for an IT company.
During the graduate programme, we were allowed to shape the assignments and make our own suggestions. My own initiative was to introduce a CSC branding campaign targeting young talents. I presented my ideas to the Nordic Manager and was given strong support by my colleagues further up the management ladder. Even right at the top, people listen to good ideas at CSC.
Today, I am Account Manager in the part of CSC called Client Facing Group. It’s a diverse job that includes selling IT services and optimizing customer service. I’m also in charge of budgets, accounts and invoicing. In my everyday work, I experience how valuable it is working closely with experienced colleagues. I have worked with extremely skilled colleagues with many years’ IT experience during my two years or so with CSC, and that is very, very educational.
I’m glad I chose CSC. It’s a company with such a lot of scope for people with drive and initiative.
