CSC Positioned as a ‘Leader’ in Leading Analyst Firm's European Life Insurance Policy Administration Report
Pressemelding -- September 30, 2011
ALDERSHOT, U.K., 30 September 2011 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that its GraphTalk A.I.A software is positioned in the “Leaders” Quadrant of Gartner’s second Magic Quadrant for European Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems, authored by Juergen Weiss, a Gartner research director. Published on 15 Sept. 2011, the report reviewed 16 software solutions specifically looking at the completeness of their vision and their ability to execute.
Explaining why life insurers and pension providers choose vendor solutions, the report stresses, “Cost considerations, pressure for a faster time to market of new products, skills shortages, mitigation of system risks and growing compliance concerns are among the main drivers for legacy system replacement.”
“With a long-standing commitment to help insurers around the world meet their business objectives, whether it is to achieve global synergies, reach new markets, accelerate product development or explore new distribution channels, CSC continues to make extensive investment in enhancing GraphTalk A.I.A’s functionality and technology infrastructure,” said Steve Mitchener, president of CSC’s Financial Services Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “We are proud to be recognised by Gartner with our Leaders Quadrant position in the market place, as we believe it reflects the value we deliver to our customers every day.”
With over 100 implementations of GraphTalk A.I.A throughout 25 countries worldwide, GraphTalk A.I.A is one of CSC’s leading global insurance software solutions for multi-line, multilingual, multi-currency administration. It is an advanced, flexible, end-to-end solution for insurers worldwide, offering unmatched administration support for group and individual life and health, annuities, pensions and general insurance products. It is ideally suited to multinational insurance companies that need to rationalise their business across multiple lines and geographies, as well as insurers wanting to consolidate multiple legacy systems and provide integrated support for multiple lines of business and distribution channels.
