News Release -- September 08, 2010
FALLS CHURCH, Va., Sept. 8 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the U.S. Navy awarded the company a task order to provide systems programming and engineering services. The task order has a one-year base period and a one-year option, bringing the estimated total value to $42 million. In addition, CSC will support testing and perform engineering studies to provide data analysis and reports.
“We are proud to continue our 30 years of support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center by providing innovative technology solutions to maintain fleet readiness across the Navy enterprise,” said Austin Yerks, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Defense Group. “Our global footprint in both private and public sectors, combined with our service in most U.S. government agencies, give us the unique ability to address the nation’s biggest challenges.”
