FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 23 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has been ranked in the top ten by Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine as one of the “Best Corporate Citizens in Government Contracting” for 2010.
“CSC is honored to be recognized by CR Magazine as one of the Best Corporate Citizens in government contracting,” said Susan Pullin, vice president, corporate responsibility and analyst relations. “This ranking validates our substantial commitment to the federal government in running a sustainable and ethical company. We continue to align our business goals and corporate strategy to focus on increased sustainability efforts and to maintain a balance between our business and the communities in which we work.”
“CR Magazine congratulates CSC for serving as a model corporate citizen in the government contractor community. Their ranking reflects a real commitment to transparency and accountability," said Dirk Olin, editor of CR Magazine. "We will continue to highlight corporate best practices and expose irresponsible behaviors in order to drive government contractors to reach for higher and higher standards of excellence.”
The inaugural Best Corporate Citizens in Government Contracting List is based on the methodology of CR Magazine’s 11-year-old 100 Best Corporate Citizens List, known as the world’s top corporate responsibility ranking and recognized by PR Week as one of America’s top three most-important business rankings.
