American Medical Association (AMA) Elects CSC’s Robert Wah to Chair-elect, Board of Trustees


FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 16 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the American Medical Association (AMA) elected Dr. Robert Wah, chief medical officer and vice president of CSC’s North American Public Sector line of business, as chair-elect of the AMA Board of Trustees for the 2010-2011 year. He will become chair of the board in June 2011. The elections were held at the recent Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates in Chicago, Ill.

AMA officers/trustees represent the association before governmental agencies and national and international health-related organizations, as well as at policy forums, public information meetings and media relations events. The board sets priorities, allocates financial resources, and interprets and implements policies.

Wah has been a member of the AMA House of Delegates for 16 years and served as chair of the AMA Council on Long Range Planning and Development. Wah also served as chair of the AMA Young Physicians Section.

Wah focuses on federal and state government agencies that are responsible for health information and works collaboratively with CSC’s commercial and global business units that also serve the healthcare sector.
