CSC Appoints New President to Lead Australia Operations

FALLS CHURCH, Va. and SYDNEY, Australia, March 30 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Gavin Larkings has been named president of CSC’s Australian operations, effective April 6, 2010. Larkings will succeed Nick Wilkinson whose assignment in Australia is ending.

We thank him for his leadership of our Australian team over these past two years, and I look forward to announcing his new assignment in the near future.”

Larkings recently completed the Harvard Advanced Management Program. Prior to that, he undertook a successful assignment as vice president of service delivery with CSC's Managed Services Sector (MSS) for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this position he was responsible for a significant transformation in service delivery performance and played a major role in the continuing growth of that region. Previously, he was vice president of service delivery in the Australian region, and has held several positions of increasing responsibility since joining CSC in 1999.
Larkings’ career in information technology (IT) spans over 30 years and includes management roles within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and EDS. His experience in IT has been broad and diverse, ranging across line and executive management roles in data centres, technical systems support, applications development and account management.
Larkings has a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Management from Macquarie University Sydney, in addition to the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
