CSC Wins $21 Million Task Order From Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
News Release -- December 15, 2009
FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 15 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission awarded the company a task order to provide managed services for end-user computing. The $21 million task order, which has a three-and-a-half-year base period and a three-and-a-half-year option, is one of the first task orders to be awarded under the U.S. General Services Administration's new Alliant contract.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will install new laptop computer equipment, which include notebooks, netbooks and tablet PCs, and provide a nationwide information technology (IT) help desk.
