CSC GARNERS INFOWORLD 100 AWARD FOR U.S. ARMY LOGISTICS MODERNIZATION PROGRAM

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 3 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has been named a winner of the 2007 InfoWorld 100 Award for its U.S. Army Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). The annual awards honor information technology (IT) projects that demonstrate the most creative use of cutting-edge technologies to serve well-defined business goals.International Data Group (IDG), publisher of InfoWorld, recognized CSC for its work on the LMP, one of the world’s largest enterprise resource planning implementations. CSC provides end-to-end application development and support services for the LMP, which continues to modernize the Army’s supply chain management operations. The awards recognize projects that stretch beyond off-the-shelf solutions and make innovative use of multiple technologies.

The LMP is a fully integrated supply chain and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) planning and execution solution for the U.S. Army. As a key element in the Army’s logistics modernization effort, the LMP integrates more than 80 different Department of Defense systems, managing more than $4.5 billion in inventory and 50,000 vendors. It exceeds industry standards for response time – less than two seconds in 98 percent of all cases.
