CSC FINALIZES IT SERVICES EXTENSION AGREEMENT WITH DUPONT
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 20 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that, in accordance with the interim agreement previously announced on July 1, it has signed a definitive agreement to extend CSC’s information technology (IT) outsourcing services agreement with DuPont. The new contract extends services through December 2014. CSC now estimates the total value of the seven-year and seven-month extension period at $1.6 to $2 billion depending on fluctuations in business volume and future efficiency gains.
CSC’s relationship with DuPont began in June 1997 when the companies signed a landmark 10-year global IT outsourcing contract. CSC operates DuPont's global information systems and technology infrastructure and provides selected applications services in more than 40 countries throughout the world.
