CSC RECEIVES SAP CUSTOMER COMPETENCE CENTER CERTIFICATION FOR WORK ON U.S. ARMY LOGISTICS MODERNIZATION PROGRAM

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., April 19 - Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has earned SAP Customer Competence Center (CCC) certification for its work on the U.S. Army’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). CCC certification signifies that an organization has met SAP standards for its practices, procedures and performance. This achievement affirms CSC’s standing among world-leading organizations demonstrating efficiency and professionalism in systems management and user support.CSC provides end-to-end applications and infrastructure services to the Army’s LMP. This is the company’s first North American team supporting SAP implementations to receive this certification.
The certification was achieved following a successful SAP Operations Competence Assessment carried out by the SAP Government Support and Services CCC team based out of SAP Americas headquarters in Newtown Square, Penn. The team analyzed CSC’s management of the SAP solution-based environment, including tools and processes used in support of the LMP production systems, and was able to benchmark CSC’s performance against industry best practices.
“This certification underscores CSC’s experience and ability to provide high level support, service delivery and business results to the Logistics Modernization Program,” said Brad Thompson, director of CSC’s LMP Production Services organization. “It also demonstrates to our current and future clients that we have well-documented systems management and support processes in place that best leverage the skills of our staff.”
