EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 25, 2003 Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) has been awarded a seven-year contract with Public Works and Government Services Canada to standardize and integrate the Department of National Defence’s (DND) deployed network operating system. The projected value of this contract is more than $38 million ($60 million Cdn.) if all options are exercised.

Under the agreement, CSC will create a single operating system, based on Windows 2000, that will integrate the DND’s entire network system. CSC will provide project planning and management; systems design, integration and deployment; training support; and applications support services.
