FALLS CHURCH, Va., Mar. 21 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has been awarded a Multiple Award Schedule contract for professional engineering services by the General Services Administration (GSA). The contract has a five-year base period of performance valued at $50 million and an additional five-year option.
Under the contract, CSC will have the opportunity to provide engineering services to all agencies of the U.S. federal government. "The scope of services offered by this GSA schedule is extraordinary,” said Mike Laphen, president of CSC's Civil Group, based in Falls Church, Va. "Nearly all of these services require the value-added business process engineering and technological solutions CSC has been providing to our clients for many years."
