EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 25, 2004 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has been listed in the "leaders" quadrant of the Gartner report, Magic Quadrant for European SAP Consulting Services. The March 2004 report positions the top 10 leading providers of SAP consulting services based on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision.
According to Gartner, “Leaders are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.” To qualify for the report, external service providers need to have a Global SAP Services Partnership or SAP Services Partnership in at least three European countries and have earned at least 200 million euros in European consulting services revenue in 2002.
"With more than 20 years of SAP experience, CSC is a leader in delivering end-to-end ERP solutions and business results for clients,” said George Bell, president of CSC’s European Group. "We are pleased to see this expertise acknowledged by the report."
According to the report, the leader quadrant vendors cited demonstrated significant depth and breadth of experience, and understood the need to successfully deliver services. Gartner states that SAP consulting services are growing in importance as businesses try to consolidate, optimize or extend their systems. Gartner determines the positioning of the service providers within the Magic Quadrant based on formal presentations by participating vendors, client reference checks and analyst knowledge of the market.
