Total of Six CSC Employees Recognized at This Year’s Awards Ceremony

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 13, 2003 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Maureen Holland has been named a Special Recognition Award Winner at the 2003 National Women of Color in Technology and Business Awards Conference that took place Oct. 9-11 in College Park, Ga. Holland received her award on Saturday, Oct. 11, during the Diversity Recognition Award Power Breakfast.

Along with Holland, five other CSC employees were recipients of this year’s Women of Color awards. They include Sunitha Cherukuri, Akiko Kizawa and Archana Shet, all of whom received Rising Stars awards, and Usha Ramaswamy and Jacqueline Grant, both of whom received All Stars awards.

Holland, who joined CSC in 2000, supports one of the company’s major telecommunications clients with responsibility for managing CSC staff across a variety of critical business application and project assignments.

“It was an honor to nominate Maureen for this prestigious award, and it is rewarding to see her capabilities and skills recognized in this fashion,” said Joe Doherty, service delivery executive for CSC’s Global Transformation Services group. “While impacted by demands associated with the past year’s challenging environment in the telecommunications industry, Maureen provided outstanding support for strategic new projects and maintained superior day-to-day service. Her accomplishments, as well as those of the other CSC employees recognized, are worthy of acknowledgement and admiration.”

Holland is also a Naval Chief in the U.S. Naval Reserves, providing overall leadership for effective coaching and development of personnel. Recently, the Navy tasked Holland to be part of a flight crew in the VR-56 Air Squadron in Norfolk, Va.
