CSC NAMES CONSTANTINO PAGALIA MANAGING DIRECTOR OF LATIN AMERICAN OPERATIONS

Appointment Part of New Strategy to Improve Service, Accelerate Growth

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 5 -- As part of the company’s comprehensive new growth strategy, called Project Accelerate, Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Constantino Pagalia has been named managing director of CSC’s Latin American operations, effective immediately. This includes operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru and Mexico.

Pagalia, who will be based at CSC’s Latin American headquarters in Santiago, Chile, will be responsible for the company’s operations, clients and future World Sourcing centers in Central and South America. He will report to Mary Jo Morris, president, World Sourcing Services, and Russ Owen, president, Americas Commercial Group.

“Latin America is a key growth geography for CSC,” said Owen. “Constantino’s years of experience serving our clients in Latin America and Australia, coupled with his understanding of the natural resources industry and support of Fortune Global 500 companies, make him the right individual to lead our expansion in Latin America.”

“Many of our existing customers are demanding more complex support for their operations in Latin America, and the region is ideally suited to provide cost-effective, nearshore, same-time-zone support for North America,” said Morris. “Constantino will provide the leadership we need to meet our clients’ business needs and oversee new World Sourcing locations in the area.”

Previously, Pagalia served as general manager of CSC’s operations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru, and regional manager for the BHP Billiton and Newmont Mining global accounts. Before assuming that position in 2003, he was the Global Enterprise Applications delivery manager for the BHP Billiton account in Australia. He joined CSC in 1999 through the company’s acquisition of GE Capital IT Solutions. Previously, he was managing director and principal consultant for INFOLINK Australia, working with companies like MBF Australia, Fujitsu Australia, QANTAS, Western Australia Building Management Authority and the Water Corporation of WA.

Pagalia holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Sydney, as well as diplomas in management from the Australian Institute of Management and the Crontonville Leadership Institute of GE.
