THRIVENT FINANCIAL TO CONSOLIDATE POLICY ADMINISTRATION ON CSC PLATFORM

Company Chooses CSC’s Wealth Management Accelerator for Life Insurance and Annuity Products

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Nov. 29 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has licensed CSC’s Wealth Management Accelerator software. Thrivent Financial will consolidate six legacy systems that provide life insurance and annuity administration onto the CSC software platform.

Wealth Management Accelerator provides comprehensive support for key life insurance and annuity administration business processes, such as product development, asset accumulation, repetitive payments, and billing and collection. Thrivent Financial will consolidate nearly five million contracts, including universal and variable universal life insurance, and traditional, fixed and variable annuities. The company will integrate the new platform with CSC’s nbAccelerator software to streamline life insurance and annuity underwriting processes.

“We were looking for a flexible solution that would help us simplify our technology platform,” said Holly Morris, Thrivent Financial chief information officer. “Consolidating onto CSC’s state-of-the-art administrative software will help us improve services to our fraternal members and speed innovative insurance products to market.”

“Wealth Management Accelerator will help Thrivent, a valued CSC client for more than 25 years, operate more efficiently,” said Michael W. Risley, president of the Life and Annuity division of CSC’s Financial Services Sector. “Our software has become an insurance consolidation platform of choice; in the past three years we have supported the conversion of more than eight million life and annuity policies onto our systems.”
