CSA Knowledge & Process Management Systems speeds up Malaysia Debt Ventures ICT funding process

Petaling Jaya — Computer Systems Advisers (M) Sdn Bhd (CSA), a leading IT service provider, makes yet another significant contribution towards the nation's ICT agenda. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV), Malaysia's pioneer and primary debt venture vehicle, for the execution of MDV's Knowledge & Process management Systems (KPMS) project.

Developed in-house by CSA, based on MDV's vision and requirements, KPMS incorporates an innovative due diligence methodology that allows MDV to be objective in its credit rating and accelerate the loan application process of its customers.

"Technology waits for no man. For that reason the speed and efficiency brought about by KPMS is surely good news to Technopreneurs out there. We all understand that getting funding on time has a big influence on their survival and success," said Chuah Tai Eu, Managing Director of CSA.

"We are proud to be MDV's key technology partner. With the system in place, MDV can reinforce its commitment to practising good corporate governance. Its well-defined and detailed processes, as well as innovative due diligence methodology can continue to be the benchmark of the industry," he added.

According to Chuah, MDV can also look forward to higher levels of efficiency and productivity as the system promotes the sharing and use of information and knowledge, such as ideas, expertise and best practices across the organisation. Customers meanwhile can monitor their loan application status at anytime using a web browser.

To MDV the implementation of KPMS is a step in the right direction. It would alleviate investor's concerns and assure customers of a lender that is sensitive to their needs. It will also directly put into action the organisation's "Three T's" business philosophy (Transparent, Trustworthy and Timely).

"By cutting the application process to four weeks, KPMS supports our pledge to be an organisation that puts a high emphasis on speed. We know that to our customers, being at the right place at the right time with financing in hand is very important," said Jiro Suzuki, Managing Director of MDV.

"The MOU is also a symbolic one. As a vehicle to spearhead the nation's agenda towards a knowledge-based economy in 2020, it is important for MDV to be the leader in not just ICT debt financing, but also the application of technology in every aspect of our own business and operations," added Jiro.

CSA is honoured that MDV has chosen its solutions to power the processes that will distribute the RM1.6 billion fund. The KPMS execution is a testament of CSA capability in applying turnkey software application development skills with class-leading solutions for public as well as large private institutions.
