CIO Barometer 2011
In its third consecutive year, CSC’s CIO Barometer is a market pulse of IT leaders from a cross-section of major U.S. and European companies. The CIO Barometer includes both surveys and interviews covering the perspectives, concerns, and performance of the IT organization across a variety of current IT topics.
Faced with increasing competitive pressures, accelerating decision cycles and a new generation of tech savvy users, the 2011 CIO Barometer (PDF) found that businesses are looking to their CIOs as advisors and agents for business responsiveness, agility and collaboration. The CIO Barometer also identified four important challenges that CIOs are facing and the tactics they are employing to stay on the cutting edge of business transformation
