PFS Granted

Luxembourg is a recognized centre of excellence in both the Investment Fund and Private Banking industries. Although less widely known, another key differentiation factor of the Luxembourg financial centre in Europe is its unique PFS architecture.

Professionals of the Financial Sector are submitted to the supervision of the Luxembourg financial supervisory authority, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). In this context, the provider has to present his solution to the CSSF.

Moreover, as detailed under article 41 of the law of 5 April 1993, Professionals of the Financial Sector but also foreign operators of systems approved in Luxembourg are bound to secrecy concerning the information entrusted to them in the exercise of their professional duties.

As a PFS granted company, CSC Luxembourg guarantees that it will follow the same legal obligations that regulate banks regarding customer data confidentiality and secrecy, including monthly reporting and regular CSSF audits. The PFS certification qualifies CSC Luxembourg to provide consulting, systems integration and outsourcing solutions to customers in the financial sector.
