News Article -- July 27, 2012
The Lithuanian Tribune took part in the Meeting of World Lithuanian Youth 2012 this summer, where CSC Baltic participated in the Careers Fair. The event, which was organized for the first time in independent Lithuania, attracted over 3,000 participants from more than 30 countries around the world and was the first of its kind and scale in the history of the country. The meeting welcomed everyone regardless of their country of residence, occupation or age. It was an opportunity and meeting point for those whom “Lithuania” has a special meaning in their hearts.
The event was targeted at young individuals with its program covering subjects within the areas of business, politics, science and culture. Over twenty venues hosting keynote speeches, discussions, career and contact fairs, evening concerts, workshops and other activities were used during the four-day event.
In addition, this was a fantastic opportunity to meet many people, in particular many young people who will play a part in the future of Lithuania one day, and the CSC Baltic team demonstrated the proactive attitude of the company and stood out for all to see. In fact, the company received a lot of attention and compliments for this! The CSC Baltic stand at the Careers Fair was busy all day long; the team met a lot of interesting Lithuanians who had travelled from various continents and shared a lot of our common contacts.
It is well known that youngsters need to be given a chance to shine in Lithuania. Even though there are already a number of young people putting down their mark on the industry, career opportunities at CSC Baltic were extensively presented in order to attract new young and bright people to work within the company.
Due to this success, CSC Baltic expects to participate again in this event when it returns in 2014. Join us!
