EARTH HOUR 2015
28 March, 2015 at 8.30 PM LT time
Earth Hour, organised by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) is a global initiative to show that one man can make significant changes.
Starting from 2007 it is held every year all over the world. Lithuania is not an exception and every year most of the municipalities are joining this great event. The Earth hour symbol is +60 (means 60 minutes of breath to Mother Earth).
The lights will be turned off in the central streets, churches of the biggest cities of Lithuania, also in the President’s Office and other important objects.
Like every year CSC Baltic together with other companies located at the Technopolis business centre will switch off their logo signs on the outside of the building for 1 hour on 28 March, precisely at 20.30h. In addition, it is agreed with landlord and all tenants that electricity will be switched off for an hour in all common areas of the business centre (parking lots, halls, reception, corridors etc.) and as much as possible in the each premises.
This is the gesture to show that we can gradually make changes through everybody’s efforts and respect back to Mother Earth.
