CSC ANNOUNCES $595 MILLION IN PREVIOUSLY UNANNOUNCED FEDERAL CONTRACTS
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., June 29 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that since April 1, 2006, its Federal Sector business unit has signed 80 previously unannounced contracts and subcontracts valued at approximately $595 million during the first quarter of CSC’s fiscal year 2007. The quarter ends June 30, 2006.
The agreements cover time periods ranging from one month to 10 years. Civil agencies accounted for 36 awards with a total value of approximately $246 million. Department of Defense agencies accounted for 44 awards with a total value of approximately $349 million.

Significant areas of award activity include Army, Navy, the Department of Justice, transportation, healthcare and intelligence agencies.
All expressed contract award terms and values represent the amounts that CSC expects to receive from the agreements if all options are exercised.
