Raj Vattikuti

Mr. Vattikuti was the founder of Covansys, now a CSC company. He founded Covansys, originally named Complete Business Solutions, Inc., in 1985 with five employees. Today, Covansys has 8,000 consultants and employees worldwide. Mr. Vattikuti served as president and chief executive officer of the company until June 2000, when he became co-chairman. In September 2004, Mr. Vattikuti resumed an active leadership position in the company when he was appointed president and chief executive officer.

Prior to founding Covansys, Mr. Vattikuti was director of MIS for Yurika Foods Corporation, from 1983 to 1985. From 1977 to 1983, Mr. Vattikuti was an MIS project leader for Chrysler Corporation. In May 2001, Mr. Vattikuti received the Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to the IT industry, from Dykema Gossett at the third annual Michigan IT Summit.

Mr. Vattikuti holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, India, and an MS degree in electrical and computer engineering from Wayne State University. Mr. Vattikuti also holds an honorary doctorate in business administration from Bryant College.
